Details below: Valley Clean-up Day: Join us on Saturday, April 24 from 8:30am - 10:30am. Preserve the Valley supporters will meet behind Blimp City Bike & Hike, 1675 Merriman Rd, where you can pick up a map and supplies. (Yes, we'll also have snacks!) We'll be focusing on side roads in the Valley as other groups clean up the Akron-Peninsula Rd. loop. Masks required and bright clothing recommended. That's why we continue to encourage endorsements from NE Ohio environmental groups, non-profits, churches and businesses. Ask your group to write a letter of endorsement for Theiss Woods to be conserved by the Western Reserve Land Conservancy as a future park.
